I became interested in Lo-Fi Hip-Hop when I began drawing more routinely to help me get in a particular "mood" to relax and just take things as they come. The original fulfillment for this was the youtube channel that lots of folks are probably familiar with, found here.
I've developed somewhat of an adoration for this mood and I find myself constantly trying to achieve, (as silly as it sounds), a sort of "zen" that is associated with it. My fondest recollection of this is sitting near a window, snow falling outside, no obligations for the day -- hot coffee nearby, wrapped in blanket with either a book or my iPad. Now that may sound very specific but it is easier to achieve that you might think.
This playlist is being updated with new songs almost constantly, but it is the same at its core.
Feel free to give it a listen here.

This playlist is one I have been building and mending for several years. It was inspired by a like playlist called "Young Witch In Training" that I came across on 8tracks internet radio. A few tracks from that set became the foundation of my playlist.
The tracks on my playlist, "TENDER SPELLCASTER," have been collected over the years from my favorite artists. These particular songs take me far from where I am and what I'm doing. Songs with such great imagination that I cannot help but imagine myself mixing potions and bundling herbs for drying from the rafters of a tiny kitchen.
If you would like to follow my playlist, it can be found on Apple Music simply by searching the title or by following this link.
Playlist cover photo is from the anime, Mushi-Shi. Image pulled from this blog.
